Our Story

AXIAQUA is a purpose-led gemstone brand with a singular mission: to transform the rare beauty of aquamarine into clean water for the world’s most vulnerable communities.

We source and sell pear-shaped aquamarine gemstones of exceptional quality, and every purchase directly funds the construction of water wells in remote, underserved regions of Africa.

Our name is drawn from two ancient words. AXIA (αξία) is the Greek word for ‘worthy’. AQUA is the Latin word for ‘water’. Together they form our declaration: “A gem of value, worthy of providing clean water for children”.

We believe that every child deserves clean water, every woman deserves safety, and every community deserves the infrastructure that the rest of the world takes for granted. Our aquamarine gemstones are worthy of saving lives.

The pear-shaped aquamarine gemstone, reminiscent of a water droplet, serves as our emblem—a perfect embodiment of our core values.

Our goal is to finance the construction of water wells in rural communities by selling aquamarine gemstones. This initiative seeks to provide communities that have never had access to clean and safe water with the essential resource they need.

Our Impact
